End of year work from INSAS under the direction of Ingrid von Wantoch Rekowski
Strange places for theatre: the Museum of Ixelles and the Pompidou Centre...
Within the framework of 'Jeudi's', the Pompidou Centre invites French and European art schools to an evening challenging their artistic approach amongst the work of the gallery. INSAS, as a guest of 'Jeudi's' wishes to share this concept with their neighbour, the Museum of Ixelles.
Third year students from 'Réalisation Théâtre' and final year students from 'Interprétation dramatique' take up the challenge, through drama, to take a different view of the work exhibited by the Museum of Ixelles and Pompidou Centre. Mingling with the public, together and in groups, curious and outrageous, they will act as strange, surprising visitors stopping in front of certain work to respond and comment on detail, composition and history using their theatrical skills.
